If raid nights do not fit your week, there is an announced PvP gearing route. Here is what Blizzard has confirmed about its progression.
What do Honor and Rank Points do?
Blizzard’s PvP overview separates the two: Honor is spent on equipment, while Rank Points advance your PvP rank. Ranks have a weekly cap.
The Player vs. Player tab in the Character pane shows your rank, Rank Points and available rewards.
How do epic upgrades work?
Start with blue-quality PvP gear bought with Honor. An epic upgrade needs that blue piece and an Emboldened Seal. Seals have rank requirements.
The announced milestones include a PvP trinket at rank 2 and epic bracer and belt upgrade tokens at rank 8. Check the requirement for the piece you want before planning around it.
What carries over from seasonal tasks?
Seasonal tasks award progression rewards. Three tasks also award Legacy Points, and those Legacy-linked tasks remain available in later seasons.
Can I plan around a few evenings a week?
The announcement establishes a gearing route, but does not tell you how many evenings an upgrade will take or establish parity with raid gear. Pick a nearby reward and see how progress fits your own sessions before committing to a distant rank.
Keep the blue piece’s role in the upgrade path in mind when choosing your next purchase.
