ABOUT SIDEQUEST DAD / WOW FOREVER

A little less homework.
A lot more Azeroth.

An independent fan clubhouse for players with a big world to explore and a real life around it.

WHAT BRINGS US HERE

Worth logging in for.
Worth a detour too.

SideQuest Dad makes room for original fan-made adventures, editorials with a point of view, and practical tools for WoW Forever. The aim is a good evening in Azeroth, not another list of things you ought to finish.

Play a small story. Find something interesting being made by the community. Work out which class you want to try. Take what helps, and leave room for your own adventures.

HOW WE APPROACH IT

A point of view.
Something to back it up.

Keep facts and opinions distinct.
An editorial can make an argument. Useful game details lead back to clear sources, with room for opinions as opinions.
Respect the version.
Forever’s beta talents and systems can change. We link to the relevant previews so you can check the details behind a guide.
Show the tradeoff.
There is room for different kinds of player and different kinds of evening. We explain what a choice gives you and what you might miss.

ABOUT THE CLASS PICKER

A starting point, not a tier list.

Your required role filters the class list. Compatible range, fantasy, companion and flexibility preferences bring options first; alphabetical order breaks ties. Solo and group preferences change the suggested next step, rather than a hidden score.

We show up to three directions with their tradeoffs and sources. There are no DPS rankings or promises about how much you will finish in a session.
